‘Let the Children come’ by Stephen Lake – a timely look at communion before confirmation.

Jane Williams’ beautifully illustrated ‘Angels’.

Michael Mayne’s final book ‘the Enduring Melody’, described by his friend Alan Bennett as ‘An heroic book. For something a little lighter, try the charming ‘year at Bottengoms Farm’ by Ronald Blythe.
